We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team and maintain our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Role Overview
As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will oversee the housekeeping operations for our 27-bedroom lodge and extensive wedding venue facilities. You will lead a team of housekeepers, ensuring all rooms, event spaces, and public areas are immaculate and ready for guests. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and train a team of housekeepers, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
* Coordinate daily cleaning schedules for guest rooms, event spaces, and public areas.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure all areas meet quality and hygiene standards.
* Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
* Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, especially during large weddings and events.
* Handle guest requests and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
* Maintain health and safety standards in line with company policies.
Requirements
* Previous experience in housekeeping, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
* Ability to work under pressure, particularly during busy event periods.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations (desirable).
