This is a hybrid role based 3 days week at The Nest in Barton-upon-Humber.
This role blends delivery management and business analysis, ensuring change initiatives move smoothly from discovery through technical delivery to go live. Working within the IT Change team and closely with data-focused groups, the Delivery Analyst/Manager connects business needs with technical execution. You’ll coordinate day-to-day activity managing capacity, planning, resolving blockers, and keeping work on track while ensuring requirements are clear before reaching technical teams.
Ideal for someone business-facing, analytical, experienced with data/BI teams, and confident managing workflow without formal line management.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Coordination
• Coordinate daily progress across workstreams, ensuring tasks are clear and prioritised.
• Track progress and support planning, capacity, and scheduling.
• Identify and escalate blockers, risks, and dependencies.
• Maintain documentation of decisions, risks, actions, and updates.
• Support alignment between the Application Data team and stakeholders.
Business & Process Analysis
• Lead discovery to understand problems, goals, and requirements.
• Capture and document functional/non-functional requirements and user journeys.
• Map current vs. future-state processes, focusing on data and workflow impacts.
• Run workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Maintain clear, traceable requirements and scope.
• Ensure requirements are technically feasible and understood by delivery teams.
• Support impact assessments on data models, interfaces, and dependencies.
Quality & Improvement
• Support testing, acceptance, and validation.
• Promote consistent and efficient working practices.
• Lead retrospectives and root-cause reviews to drive continuous improvement.
About You
Essential
8. Experience in business analysis, delivery or project management within technology environments.
9. Strong organisational and communication skills across both business and technical audiences.
10. Ability to document clear requirements and translate business goals into actionable technical detail.
11. Comfortable tracking work, managing priorities, and supporting progress in Agile or hybrid environments.
12. Understanding of data concepts (data flows, reporting, data quality).
Desirable
13. Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio/Lucidchart.
14. Experience working with data platform teams (DevOps, Data Engineering, BI, Databases) and cloud based technologies.
15. Understanding of business analysis
16. Exposure to product delivery or iterative delivery methods.
