The Role
We are seeking a Club House Manager to lead the commercial and operational activities of the club. You will play a key role in ensuring Oxford Quins continues to thrive as a welcoming, professional, and financially sustainable community rugby club.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow the commercial operations of the Club, including the bar and event facilities.
* Provide a welcoming and professional front-of-house presence, ensuring members, players, guests, and visitors have a positive experience.
* Plan, organise, and deliver a wide range of activities, including match day lunches, senior men's and women's fixtures, mini & junior events, private functions, and community programmes.
* Work closely with clients, suppliers, staff, and volunteers to ensure smooth delivery of all events.
* Ensure robust financial management, budgeting, and reporting to the Club Treasurer and Exec Board.
* Oversee the effective use of till systems and ensure policies on HR, health & safety, food hygiene and finance are understood and adhered to.
* Manage and maintain all club facilities, buildings, and assets to a high standard.
* Collaborate with the Exec Board to develop and implement the long-term vision for the Clubhouse at Oxford Quins RFC.
About You
We're looking for an organised, motivated leader who thrives in a busy, community-focused environment. The ideal candidate will bring:
* Experience in hospitality, operations, or club management, or a related professional qualification.
* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of staff and volunteers.
* Strong financial skills with experience of managing budgets and achieving commercial targets.
* Experience running bar and/or events operations, ideally in a sporting or club environment.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality events.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for customer service and community engagement.
* Knowledge of health & safety, licensing, and compliance requirements. Level 3 food hygiene certificate is required
* DBS and background checks will be carried out
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and match days.
