Overview
We are looking for a driven and people-focused Sales Supervisor / Sales Trainer to join our growing Dartford team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves developing others, and understands what it takes to deliver consistent, high-performing sales results.
You’ll work closely with our Sales Lead to oversee performance within one of our sales offices, providing coaching, guidance, and day-to-day motivation to both in-office and some remote team members. You’ll also be responsible for identifying underperformance through data, supporting improvement plans, and delivering practical sales training to help the team hit and exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Management & Coaching
* Monitor hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly sales stats to identify performance trends.
* Support and develop team members who are underperforming, providing tailored coaching and feedback.
* Deliver ongoing training on sales techniques, call structure, objection handling, and closing skills.
* Work alongside the Sales Lead to implement performance improvement strategies across the team.
* Conduct regular 1-to-1s and coaching sessions to drive personal accountability and motivation.
Team Supervision & Support
* Take day-to-day responsibility for one of the Dartford sales offices.
* Support a small proportion of remote team members with virtual coaching and feedback.
* Lead by example through proactive involvement in calls, demonstrations, or client conversations when needed.
* Foster a positive and high-energy environment that encourages competition, teamwork, and personal growth.
Reporting & Communication
* Report key performance insights, training needs, and team challenges to the Sales Lead.
* Ensure targets, processes, and expectations are clearly communicated to all team members.
* Maintain accurate tracking of progress following coaching or performance interventions.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Proven experience in sales leadership, team supervision, or sales training.
* Strong understanding of sales process, structure, and performance management.
* Excellent communication and coaching skills with a motivational approach.
* Confident analysing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Ability to work full-time, in-office, in Dartford.
Desirable:
* Experience managing both in-office and remote sales teams.
* Background in recruitment, education, or service-based sales environments.
* Familiarity with CRM and performance tracking tools.
