Hours: Working 2 days, 3 nights then 2 days, 2 nights

Responsibilities
* As a Security Officer, you will act as the first point of contact for staff and visitors, ensuring a secure and professional environment.
* Patrolling key areas, managing gatehouse operations, and providing a reassuring presence.
* Deliver exceptional customer service, helping clients feel safe and supported while working on behalf of a world-leading aerospace and defence organisation.
* Respond to incidents and maintain vigilance in accordance with site procedures and Securitas core values: Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
* Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site; monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV as appropriate.
* Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
* Provide traffic control and apply parking restrictions as required.
* Carry out routine tests of security equipment and manage keys, locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
* Maintain logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions and issue visitor/contractor passes as required.
Qualifications
* A valid SIA licence (essential).
* Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
* The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
* British nationality and UK residency for the past 5 years and able to obtain SC clearance (due to site requirements).
* Great attention to detail and ability to follow processes and policies.
* Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
