Key Responsibilities of the Subject Specialist:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons in your specialist subject area (e.g., English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages, etc.).
* Maintain engagement and focus throughout lessons.
* Support student understanding and address queries when needed.
* Manage classroom behaviour and uphold school policies.
* Communicate progress and concerns to relevant teaching staff.
Requirements for the Subject Specialist role:
* A degree in your subject specialism and/or teaching qualification is desirable.
* Experience delivering or supporting lessons in school.
* Confident classroom management and strong communication skills.
* Adaptability to cover across year groups and subjects when needed.
* An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
