Contract Type: Full-time, long-term
Salary: £12.90 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Are you passionate about supporting young learners in their early education journey? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Poulton to recruit a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team from January – or earlier if possible.
About the Role:
As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils across Year 1 and Year 2, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment. You’ll work closely with class teachers to deliver targeted support, assist with phonics and literacy development, and contribute to the overall wellbeing and progress of the children.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (KS1 experience desirable)
* A nurturing and proactive approach to supporting learning
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine passion for education and child development
* Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is advantageous
