Personal Advisor Location: Monks Walk, Chicksands, Shefford, Central Bedfordshire, SG17 5TQ Start Date: ASAP Contract Duration: 3 Months Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week Pay Rate: £ 16.37 per day Job Ref: OR10841 Responsibilities Manage a caseload, developing, monitoring, and reviewing Pathway Plans of support and interventions in agreement with the service user. Respond to requests for support and assistance, gathering sufficient basic information to determine the level and type of assessment required. Participate in completing Pathway Assessments in a timely manner, in partnership with young people, carers, social workers, and other relevant parties. Ensure that Pathway Assessments and Plans focus on individual strengths, areas for further development, and action plans for moving towards independence. Record the views of young people and relevant professionals explicitly in the assessments and plans. Ensure that Pathway assessments and plans are holistic, addressing all relevant user categories. Collect all IT equipment on the first day of engagement at Priory House, Shefford, and return it in the same condition on the last working day. If in-person return is not possible, equipment must be suitably packaged and returned by tracked courier within one week of assignment completion. Person Specification The ideal candidate will possess: Experience in working with young people leaving care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively. Proficiency in developing and implementing support plans. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Flexibility and willingness to travel as required.
