Compass Associates are currently working in close partnership with a highly reputable complex care provider with a strong presence in the Midlands. Due to exciting growth plans, they are currently seeking a Recruitment Manager to join the team who will play a vital role in leading and developing the internal recruitment function.
This is a key strategic and operational role, responsible for ensuring the attraction, selection and onboarding of high-quality talent across the organisation. The Recruitment Manager will manage a small team, contribute to workforce planning and recruitment strategy, and take ownership of the recruitment budget, ensuring cost-effective and innovative sourcing solutions within a specialist care environment.
Responsibilities
* Foster a proactive, solutions-focused recruitment culture aligned with organisational values
* Design and implement recruitment strategies to meet workforce needs across all services
* Partner closely with operational leaders to understand staffing requirements, skill gaps and future demand
* Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes for a range of roles, including frontline care, specialist and management positions
* Ensure recruitment practices are compliant with safer recruitment standards and sector regulations
* Manage and optimise the recruitment budget, including spend across job boards, advertising platforms and other sourcing methods
* Evaluate and introduce effective sourcing channels, including direct sourcing, social media, referrals and local engagement
* Monitor cost-per-hire, time-to-hire and return on investment across recruitment activities
* Continuously review and improve recruitment processes to enhance candidate experience and hiring efficiency
* Lead, develop and nurture a small recruitment team

* Demonstrable experience managing a recruitment budget
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
