About the role
Connex Education are actively recruiting Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis across friendly, supportive schools in Willington (DE65) during the summer term.
These roles are ideal for individuals with a passion for education, looking to gain hands-on classroom experience while enjoying flexible work options. Both full-time and part-time roles are available, allowing you to work around your existing commitments.
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work alongside the class teacher to support learning, deliver interventions, and create a positive learning environment. This is a great way to develop your skills while making a meaningful difference.
Assignment details
Supply work starting immediately and continuing through the summer term. Long-term placements may be available for the right candidate.

Person Specification
• A genuine passion for working with children
• Flexibility, patience, and a proactive attitude
• Minimum grade C/4 or above in GCSE Maths and English
• UK Experience working in a school or with children.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
