Randstad Education is seeking SEND Learning Support Assistants to join dynamic secondary schools in Rainham. Whether you are an experienced LSA or a Graduate looking to gain experience in Psychology or Education, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
The Role
* Inclusion Support: Assist students with SEND (including ADHD, Autism, and Speech and Language needs) to engage with their lessons.
* Behaviour Mentoring: Work with students who face social and emotional challenges, helping them stay on track and build confidence.
* Collaboration: Partner with classroom teachers to modify learning materials and ensure every student feels included.
* Personal Development: Run small:group interventions to improve literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
The Requirements
* Experience: Background in youth work, care, sports coaching, or education is preferred.
* Mindset: A positive, can:do attitude and a high level of resilience.
* Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with students who may have complex needs.
* Commitment: Available for full:time hours (Mon:Fri) during term time.
* DBS: Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness for a new one).
