Morson are exclusively looking for Skilled Fabricators for a leading aerospace company in Filton, Bristol. It is a 6-month contract initially. 4 days a week onsite, 7am – 4:15pm Rates: 19.40 GBP - Skilled without Stamp / Weekday Overtime 24.25 GBP / Weekend Overtime 29.10 GBP Stamp usually achieved within 3 months then rates increase to 20.19 GBP / Weekday Overtime 25.24 GBP / Weekend Overtime 30.29 GBP Job Description: The use of hand, electrical and pneumatic tools and bending machines to shape, form and assemble metal products within drawing limits. Desired abilities to include (but not limited to): • Use of jigs to assemble parts made from stainless steel, titanium or aluminium • Fitting • Swaging • Measuring machinery and jigs • Awareness of recognised quality process, i.e. ISO 9001, AS/EN9100, or similar Qualifications: A recognised and relevant apprenticeship or the equivalent NVQ standard. Previous manufacturing experience in a factory environment would be desirable. Key Skills: • Ability to understand technical drawings/limits. • Must be able to work in small teams with Process Team Leaders • Self-motivated team player with good communication skills
