Warehouse Operative at Camira
Camira is a multi‑award‑winning textile manufacturer focused on sustainability and innovation.
Purpose
Ensure the RNPIFL stock file is kept to a minimum by accurately labelling, locating stock and recording on the AS400 system via RF Gun.
Responsibilities
* Adhere to Camira Code of Conduct and comply with quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection and corporate legislative requirements.
* Locate stock to meet customer demands; highlight anomalies and coordinate with stock‑coordinator for investigation.
* Labelling received stock; confirm details match suppliers labels as required.
* Put received stock into tube locations recognisable by AS400 for customer orders.
* Complete stock taking following stock locating.
* Support warehouse team with other duties as required.
Qualifications
* Good literacy and numeracy to GCSE standard.
* Good understanding of AS400 system and Microsoft packages.
* Accuracy ensuring all information on labels are correct to rolls.
* Physically fit as heavy lifting is involved.
* Ability to work on own initiative and remain calm under pressure.
* A self‑motivated individual with a flexible attitude and a “can do” attitude.
* Customer focused with good interpersonal skills.
Other Considerations
* Rotating shift 0600‑1500 and 1500‑0000.
* Use of RF Gun.
* AS400 training.
* Picker (OPM) and FLT trucks training.
* Manual handling.
