What you’ll do as an Operations Manager
In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day‑to‑day:
* Work with our 3PL partner to deliver an industry leading safety culture creating a great and safe place to work.
* Consistent delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) through continuous improvement and collaboration with third party logistics partners
* Work cross functionally with the digital and tech teams to drive continuous improvement into our click and collect pick an pack process.
* Consistently deliver world class service and accuracy to our customers
* Create and deliver an innovation plan that ensures the distribution centre is fit for the future through the delivery of new technology and automation
* Work collaboratively whilst holding third party logistics and transport providers accountable to contractual KPI’s and metrics
* Influence and deliver against agreed commercial targets and budgeted expenditure
* Develop commercial proposals for automation and mechanisation projects that streamline the operation as volume grows.
* Analyse data to understand the impact of changes to business strategy on the operation and represent the logistics function in the decision‑making process

A proven track record of delivering significant change in a distribution centre environment

* Develop and deliver the strategic plan for the support functions
