The Opportunity
Are you a skilled gardener who loves working outdoors but wants the freedom of being your own boss? We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Gardener to join us on a self-employed basis.
We take pride in creating and maintaining stunning outdoor spaces, and we're looking for a reliable partner to help us keep our gardens looking their absolute best. If you're passionate about horticulture and take real ownership of your work, we'd love to have you on board.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be the hands-on expert ensuring our green spaces thrive. Your day-to-day will include:
Garden Care: Pruning, trimming, and shaping plants and shrubs to promote healthy growth and "kerb appeal."
Lawn & Landscaping: Mowing, edging, leaf clearing, and general debris removal.
Plant Health: Planting, fertilising, and weeding, as well as monitoring for pests or diseases.
System Checks: Keeping irrigation systems running smoothly (checks, minor repairs, and installations).
Creative Input: Collaborating with the team on seasonal planting schemes and landscape improvements.
Requirements (Must-Haves)
As this is a self-employed role, we are looking for a professional who is already "ready to go."
You will need:
Your Own Transport: A reliable van suitable for transporting green waste and equipment.
Professional Tools: Your own full kit of hand tools and power tools (mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, etc.).
Status: Must be registered as self-employed with your own Public Liability Insurance.
Physical Stamina: The ability to work outdoors in all weathers and handle the physical nature of the job.
Experience & Skills
Horticultural Knowledge: Previous experience in gardening or landscape maintenance is highly preferred.
Technical Savvy: Comfort using a range of power tools and a good eye for irrigation maintenance.
Passion: A genuine interest in plant care, garden aesthetics, and environmental sustainability.
Reliability: You are organised, detail-oriented, and take pride in being punctual and professional.

We offer a supportive environment where your expertise is respected. You get the benefit of a steady workflow without the stress of constant marketing, allowing you to focus on what you do best: making gardens beautiful.
