Pay & Hours
We offer a rate of £12.71 per hour and a working week of 39 hours over 5 days, Monday to Sunday. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed to accommodate individual needs.
Job Role
As a Supervisor you will work alongside our team to prepare fresh ingredients, produce sandwiches, baguettes and other food products while delivering excellent customer service and driving sales. The successful candidate will be trained to Wenzel’s Company standards and eligible for future progression.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet customers and create an inviting experience
* Receive and check daily deliveries
* Assist with branch stock and produce management
* Maintain shop displays
* Apply extensive product knowledge
* Prepare food according to specifications
* Ensure food and produce quality control
* Maintain the highest level of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards
* Work efficiently within a team
* Handle cash and operate the till
* Open or close the shop when required
* Run shifts at various times during the week
* Drive sales and minimise wastage
* Lead and develop the shop team to build a loyal customer base
* Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment at supervisory level required
* Experience in food production advantageous but full training will be provided
