Thompsons is seeking a Sales Support Administrator to join their team. The overall purpose of this role is to support the sales team with efficient handling of sales orders and improve the productivity of field sales by dealing with customer enquiries.
Main Duties
* Processing orders, checking data accuracy and invoicing.
* Maintain and update sales and customer records.
* Resolving customer queries in a polite and professional manner, clarify and provide information about their orders, deliveries, products etc.
* Process relevant documentation eg Road Licence Fund etc in a timely and accurate manner.
* Raising and issuing purchase orders & liaising with the accounts department
* Liaising with suppliers regarding vehicle bookings
The above main duties are not exhaustive and may vary without changing the character of the job or level of responsibility.
Knowledge and experience
* 2 years sales administration or customer service experience, ideally gained in the motor vehicle environment
* Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and Outlook
* Experience of bespoke databases or CRM
* Experience of the transport sector

* Good interpersonal skills including excellent verbal and written communications
* Ability to work efficiently and accurately to deadlines
* Ability to work in a team and support others
Education
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with A-C (or equivalent) in English and Maths
