We are looking for an enthusiastic Yard Assistant to join the team at our Gainsborough branch. This is a full -time role working: Monday-Friday 0 7: 3 0-17 :00 and every other Saturday 08:00-12:00 What You’ll Be Doing Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs and wow them with quick and efficien t service Maintain excellent standards across the yard. Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles Adhere to all company practice and policy, especially in relation to health and safety, compliance and business controls Provide advice on products and services with particular attention to cross-selling packages and services such as Build Aviator and ToolHire Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service as Continually develop your knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs Develop skills so you can m ulti-task and be deployed across all areas of the branch, carrying out reasonable activities as requested What We’re Looking For Previous experience within a similar role is desirable - merchanting, building Customer Service experience - High levels of customer satisfaction with frequently returning customers and growing live accounts Enthusiasm - You radiate positivity and possess an unyielding passion for the merchant world Decency - You embody honesty and integrity, contributing to a workplace built on respect and ethics Team Spirit - You thrive in collaborative settings, believing that together we can achieve greatness Pride - You take pride in your work and are dedicated to producing top-notch results Why Choose Us?
