ITIL Specialist (x4 sought)
Location: Stevenage Area (UK) initially full-time on-site
Package: Competitive basic salary + on-call & occasional overtime
Additional comments: Due to the client, we are ideally seeking applicants with Security Clearance
The Computacenter ITIL service will support the customers ITIL process to enable the customer to deliver their ITIL services, such as problem and change management. The ITIL team works with the customer and a typical day could involve attending customer led ITIL meetings, for example a problem review or change board, and collaborating with stakeholders to follow the customer's ITIL procedures to maintain compliance of them.
You'll be supporting ITIL services and process for asset, change, release, incident and problem management based at a customer site in Stevenage
What you'll do
* Provide support as an ITIL generalist, interfacing into our customers ITIL teams.
* Provide change control support ensuring governance and compliance with our customer's process.
* Contribute to problem management by identifying trends, analysing root causes, and supporting resolution planning.
* Participate in an on-call rota with the team, to assist with incident management if needed.
(nb: Actual callouts would be rare, and this responsibility would include an additional standby payment with bonuses for public holidays.)
* Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
* Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Support release management.
What you'll need
* Strong communication, decision making, pro-active and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A solid understanding of ITIL methodologies.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Flexibility to participate in an on-call rota and respond to critical incidents when required.
