The Role
As Head of Engineering, you will be a key member of the leadership team, overseeing the engineering function and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and innovative solutions across projects.
Your duties and responsibilities
* Leading engineering teams
* Fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration
* Managing risk and maintaining technical standards
* Supporting business growth through client engagement, and championing continuous improvement
* Support talent development and resource planning to sustain engineering capability over the long term.
You will have the following qualifications & experience
* Educated to degree level or equivalent in an Engineering/Technical discipline
* 5+ years in a senior engineering management role within a regulated industry
* Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams and projects
* Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing skills, and financial acumen
* Knowledge of risk management, governance, assurance, and compliant engineering practices
* Experience supporting business development and bid activities
* Broad engineering knowledge, including familiarity with site operations, waste management, and decommissioning
