We are actively recruiting for both Band 4 & Band 5 children’s residential support workers across the Belfast Area & Downpatrick Area.
Where will you be working and what will you be doing?
Children’s Residential Homes across the Belfast and Downpatrick Area. Assisting with the care and supervision of the children and young people who are resident in the home.
How much will you get paid & Hours of work?
* Band 4 Support Worker £13.57ph - £21.71ph dependent on shift worked.
* Band 5 Support Worker - £15.33ph - £24.52ph dependent on shift worked.
* Days & Nights required
Do you meet the criteria?
Band 5 – Essential Criteria
* Degree in a relevant care-related subject (e.g., Youth Work, Social Care) plus 1 year experience working with young people aged 12–18 years in residential care.
* Or NVQ Level 3 in a care-related subject plus 3 years’ experience working with young people aged 12–18 years in residential care.
* Or HNC/D in a care-related subject plus two years’ experience working with young people aged 12–18 years in residential care.
Band 4 – Essential Criteria
* Minimum of two years’ professional experience in working with children or young people aged 11–18 years, and NVQ/QCF Level 2 or above (or equivalent).
* Registered with NISSC
* Willingness to do mandatory in-house training
* Must complete Enhanced Access NI check yearly
