Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SC Cleared (SC) Network Architect/Architecture Team Lead to support a key secure account, delivering HLD/LLD documentation, leading architectural initiatives, and driving complex network solutions across a large-scale enterprise environment.
This contract sits within a mission-critical, SC-cleared programme, requiring hands-on architecture expertise across switching, routing, and Firewall technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver end-to-end Network Architecture across secure infrastructure programmes.
* Produce High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD/LLD) for network solutions.
* Work closely with cross-functional architecture teams to define and develop secure design solutions.
* Act as technical lead on major network projects, ensuring customer requirements are fully understood and met.
* Provide architectural guidance, technical leadership, and mentoring to the wider team.
* Create blueprint designs, Bills of Materials, and ensure designs pass internal and customer approval processes.
* Promote best-fit solutions within DXC's network services portfolio.
* Maintain current knowledge of network technologies, cloud networking patterns, and secure design principles.
Essential Experience
* Proven experience as a Network Architect or Architecture Team Lead.
* Strong background in enterprise networking: LAN/WAN, Data Centre, Remote Access.
* Expert skills in switching, routing, and Firewall technologies.
* Extensive experience with major Firewall platforms: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint (certified at CCSE or equivalent preferred).
* Professional certification at CCNP level or similar (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper).
* Experience acting as a design authority on large-scale, secure programmes.
* Strong documentation capability-HLDs, LLDs, architecture artefacts, BOMs.
* Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure), VXLAN, NSX-T, or Aruba Fabric Composer (desirable).
