CAD Design Engineer
Key Responsibilities
* Develop detailed CAD models and drawings for propulsion system components, sub-assemblies, and full systems to BS8888 standards with appropriate GD&T
* Support prototype development and testing of new designs
* Collaborate with engineering teams to refine designs based on feedback
* Ensure designs meet strict quality and performance requirements
* Travel to manufacturing sites to liaise with production teams and resolve design issues
* Create Manufacturing Statements of Work & Standards
* Support technical reviews (PDRs, CDRs, MRRs) and customer meetings
* Generate and resolve Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) related to tooling/fixturing
CAD Design Engineer
Requirements
* Degree in Engineering or related discipline
* Proven CAD experience (preferably PTC Creo) with a strong portfolio
* Understanding of manufacturing/machining processes
* Ability to package complex components into compact systems
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Experience interpreting technical requirements and engineering drawings
* Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement
* Ability to work under pressure to meet project deadlines
