My client is a global leading IT consultancy. They are on the hunt for a Delivery Manager to join a large retail client of theirs.
The client Programme is taking the current legacy application and is re-implementing it in a modern technology stack, deployed to the cloud (specifically Azure).
The technology stack is frontend - a 'single SPA' application which is a set separate vue-js SPA application packed into a single UI. Backend - consists of a number of domain specific Java microservices, each with their own MySQL database deployed in Azure. Communication between the two is achieved via GraphQl queries and mutations. The application interfaces to a new POS product and a number of integration points in upstream and downstream systems.
Role Description/Duties:
Plan, schedule and monitor completion of objectives to budget and expected timeframes for designated team
Risk management and mitigation
Dependency management across CGI, third party and client teams
Stakeholder engagement
Reporting to CGI internal project management including status, risks etc
