Overview
We are looking for a Business Advisory Senior Manager or Director to join our team in Inverness. Johnston Carmichael supports ambitious individuals who want to lead, innovate, and develop their skills in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the effective and profitable management of a portfolio of clients in key sectors
* Deploy your technical knowledge and business expertise to provide proactive, first-rate service to clients
* Assist current clients to grow their business while supporting the team’s growth through business development activities
* Lead and manage our people and promote effective cross-firm collaboration
* Engage in business development activities to grow JC’s client base in line with strategy
* Work with the Area Operations Manager to ensure appropriate resource planning for new and current work
* Review and sign off client accounts and ensure billing is accurate and timely
* Act as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders, delivering complex technical information
About You
* Leader of your work and your professional learning with the ability to develop yourself and others
* Strong leadership skills with ability to guide and develop team members
* Advocate of change and thought leadership for sector specialisms
* Professional accountancy qualification (ICAS, ACCA or equivalent)
* Strong business development and networking abilities
* Good working knowledge of Xero, Sage & Silverfin is advantageous
* Excellent communication skills and workload prioritisation to meet deadlines and work effectively in a team
