HR Specialist HR Specialist Marshall Slingsby Advanced Composites is based in Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire, where it produces complex composite structures that are predominantly used to manufacture vital parts on ships, submarines and aircraft. From bespoke one-off designs to low-volume manufacture, the business enjoys a unique place within its sector thanks to its application of ground-breaking technologies that drive the industry forward. We have a brand new opportunity available for an HR Specialist to join this busy team. The purpose of the role is to provide comprehensive HR specialist support within Slingsby Advanced Composites. The role will be responsible for HR related activities and ensuring that these are in accordance with relevant legislation and support the values of the company. The HR Specialist will support the company in achieving customer satisfaction and future growth. Main aspects of the role are:- To ensure that all HR related processes are conducted timely and accurately. To perform recruitment activities. To support managers and team leaders in performance of HR procedures. To manage the induction process. To support in the security vetting of employees. To support the wider team with site security compliance. To support managers in the training of their team and recording accordingly. To provide specialist guidance and advice to all employees relating to the HR processes. To compile HR reports and analysis. To manage and update HR policies and procedures to reflect legislation and culture. To actively seek continuous improvement opportunities and implement or be involved where appropriate. To communicate and work effectively with all departments / people to share any issues and contribute to the smooth running of the business.
