Job Title: Sports Coach Location: Barnsley (S70, S71) Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time Inspire pupils to stay active, build confidence, and develop teamwork through sport! GSL Education are currently recruiting an enthusiastic Sports Coach to work in schools across the S70 and S71 areas of Barnsley. As a Sports Coach, you will deliver engaging physical activities, support PE lessons, and encourage pupils to participate positively in sport and fitness. Key Duties: Deliver structured and enjoyable sports sessions and activities. Support PE teachers during curriculum lessons. Promote teamwork, resilience, and healthy lifestyles. Manage behaviour effectively during sports sessions. Assist with extracurricular clubs and school sports events. Essential Requirements: Experience working as a Sports Coach or in a similar role with young people. Relevant coaching qualification (desirable). Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
