Piling Operatives
Locations: Wolverhampton, Burton-on-Trent, Swadlincote and South Wales
We have an exciting opportunity for Piling Operatives, with all levels of experience, to join the UK’s largest and most diverse geotechnical and ground engineering contractor.
What you'll be doing.
* Working as a mini piling operative as part of the piling team on construction sites nationwide
* Reporting into Site Supervisor
* Be familiar with and demonstrate commitment to the requirements of the Health and Safety Policy
* Ensure that near misses, accidents, incidents and other safety concerns are promptly reported to the site supervisor.
* Assist with inspections of all plant, lifting equipment and recording on the appropriate forms where trained to do so.
* Be respectful to all people you interact with, treating everyone equally and embracing differences
* Conduct self in a way that reflect and promotes the Van Elle company values
* Understand and act in accordance with Van Elle’s policies and procedures
* Any other tasks that you may reasonably be required to undertake.
Who we're looking for
* Experience of working on a construction site would be advantageous
* Previous experience would be beneficial, however training will be provided dependant on experience
* Strong work ethic and Punctuality
Other Requirements:
* Eligible to work and live in the UK.
* Flexibility to travel in the UK.
* A full driving licence, that is valid in the UK (desirable)
* Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) card
