Job Description JOB – Lead Control Systems Engineer LOCATION – Leicestershire TERM - Permanent SALARY – Competitive depending on experience A Leicestershire based engineering company are looking for a Lead Control Systems Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The Lead Control Systems Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: HND of equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline. Strong background in Control Systems Engineering – modifications & commissioning. Good understanding of PLC softwares such as Allen-Bradley & Siemens. Good understanding of AutoCAD electrical drawing package. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills. Full UK driving license is beneficial. The Control Systems Engineer’s duties will involve: Developing the existing control systems for current & future projects. Producing electrical schematics & drawings for control panels. Involvement in R&D. Commissioning work before handover to customers. Occasional attending site visits when required. Providing support on installations when required. Liaising with other departments to ensure requirements are met at all times. Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.
