We are a busy, creative interior design studio specialising in high-end residential and commercial projects, ranging from bespoke new builds to single-room renovations. Our clients include private homeowners, property developers, and regional house builders, all of whom expect exceptional quality and design innovation.
We are looking for a talented Interior Designer with a minimum of 5 years' experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles and be proficient in various design software. This role requires a passion for transforming spaces and the ability to manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to timelines.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with clients to determine their needs and preferences for interior spaces.
* Develop design concepts, including colour schemes, furniture layouts, and material selections.
* Create detailed drawings and specifications using software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Rhinoceros 3D.
* Prepare visual presentations using Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Photoshop, to communicate design ideas effectively.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budgets.
* Coordinate with contractors and suppliers during the construction phase to ensure designs are executed accurately.
* Conduct site visits to assess progress and address any design-related issues that may arise.
* Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years proven experience as an Interior Designer or in a similar role.
* Proficiency in design software including SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee all phases of a project from initial concept through to completion.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
* A keen eye for aesthetics and details in design execution.
* Knowledge of construction processes and materials is advantageous.
* A relevant degree or qualification in Interior Design or a related field is preferred but not essential for candidates with substantial experience.
