Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Operations Manager to join our team from our Stockport Head Office. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring service excellence, and supporting our mission to deliver outstanding security and cleaning solutions. The Operations Manager will oversee the operational performance of our site teams and associated operations of our client's sites. The chosen applicant will collaborate with all interested parties, both internal and external, to provide service and quality innovations that advance corporate objectives.
The Operations Manager will be the USSG liaison for all Contract & Site Management communications and strategies for all service quality records, not exhaustive to KPI and SLA processes to monitor and document our business services.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operational activities across security and cleaning services to ensure seamless delivery.
* Develop and implement operational policies and procedures aligned with industry standards.
* Lead, motivate, and manage operational teams to achieve performance targets.
* Coordinate with sales and human resources departments to optimize workforce deployment.
* Monitor service quality levels and implement improvements as needed.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations.
* Manage budgets, resources, and logistics to maximize efficiency.
* Prepare reports for senior management on operational performance.
* Responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of services, including rostering, assuring that H&S and excellence are at the forefront of delivery.
* Lead the Security & Facilities Management Team/s ensuring they are suitably developed, trained, rehearsed, briefed, ready and available to carry out their roles and responsibilities at all times.
* Production of Reports & Returns summarising key activities.
Skills & Qualifications
* A professional appearance with Excellent customer service skills
* Proven solid working knowledge of the security and facilities management operations, with keyholding as a bonus.
* The ability to work in a multidisciplinary organisation and develop integrated partnerships with external organisations with self-motivation, and innovative key abilities.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to security and cleaning services with converting contract specifications into effective operations .
* Effective communication skills at all levels and capacity to perform well under pressure.
* Ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with operational management software is a plus.
* Possess a full UK Driving License and valid SIA license is preferred.
