OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
We are seeking a commercially driven and hands-on Sales & Marketing Director to lead our global business development and client engagement strategy. This role will be pivotal in expanding LQA’s client portfolio, driving revenue growth, and strengthening relationships with existing clients through targeted upselling of our expanding range of services and solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for both strategic leadership and tactical execution, with a primary focus on sales growth, supported by the marketing function. The Head of Marketing will report into this role, requiring strong collaboration and partnership to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with business development objectives. The role will also work closely with the Commercial Director and international Commercial Managers, supporting proposals, pitches, and upselling opportunities.
KEY DUTIES
Sales & Business Development
* Lead the development and execution of LQA’s global sales strategy, with a strong emphasis on revenue growth and client retention.
* Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across the luxury hospitality sector.
* Proactively engage existing clients to promote additional LQA products and services (e.g. myLQA app, UpFront Training and ACADEMY by LQA).
* Develop a structured CRM platform to improve client engagement, pipeline management, and retargeting activities.
* Build and manage client relationships at senior decision-making levels, positioning LQA as a trusted partner.
* Monitor performance against sales targets, reporting regularly to the CEO and leadership team.
* Support the Commercial Director and international Commercial Managers with proposals, pitches, and upselling activities, ensuring alignment across all client-facing interactions.
Marketing Leadership
* Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Head of Marketing, ensuring campaigns and initiatives directly support sales objectives.
* Align marketing activity with business development priorities, including content, digital, events, and PR.
* Support brand positioning and thought leadership within the luxury hospitality sector.
* Ensure data-driven decision-making across marketing campaigns, with measurable ROI.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
* Lead, coach, and inspire the sales and marketing team to achieve performance goals.
* Work in close partnership with the Head of Marketing to ensure strong collaboration and mutual support.
* Liaise closely with the Commercial team (Commercial Director and international Commercial Managers) to drive consistency and maximise revenue opportunities.
* Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer-centricity.

* Adept at harnessing data-driven insights to inform sales and marketing strategies, including goal setting, budget planning and forecasting.
* Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environments.
* Collaborative and inspiring leader with a track record of managing and mentoring marketing teams.
* Strong understanding of hospitality and the expectations of clients at the luxury end of the market.
