Dispatcher – Central Food Production Kitchen

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and thrive in fast-paced environments? We're looking for a Dispatcher to join our Central Production Kitchen team at Pure. In this essential role, you'll coordinate the timely, accurate, and quality-controlled dispatch of food products from our kitchen to various store locations and third-party partners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
* Maintain strong communication with Production Management to meet kitchen targets.
* Ensure delivery notes are printed, orders are packed per client specifications, and products are dispatched at the highest quality.
* Control and maintain inventory of dispatch-related materials (crates, cargas, wrapping).
* Record and report on dispatch activities, including any shortages or additions.
* Work closely with drivers and foster strong professional relationships.
* Support production when needed and ensure all prep for the next day is complete.
* Operate in cold rooms, production areas, and office space as required.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Ability to multitask and manage stress effectively.
* Confident using dispatch and production systems/software.
* Physically fit and comfortable working in cold environments.
* Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
Team Collaboration:
* Liaise with General Manager, Assistant Manager, Production Supervisors, and fellow team members.
* Communicate clearly with drivers and management, ensuring smooth dispatch operations.
* Provide guidance and training to other dispatchers and production support staff.
Working Environment:
* Based primarily in the dispatch area within a walk-in fridge.
* Requires regular movement between the kitchen, cold rooms, and office areas.
* Involves lifting, carrying, and physical activity for extended periods.
* Must wear appropriate PPE.
