About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Junior Advocate for a full-time, on-site position based in Kannur, Kerala. The selected candidate will support senior advocates in a range of legal matters by conducting research, assisting in case strategy, and managing documentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for young legal professionals to gain real-world courtroom experience and strengthen their legal acumen in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist senior advocates in legal proceedings and case preparation
* Conduct legal research and analysis for ongoing cases
* Draft legal documents including petitions, notices, and pleadings
* Attend court hearings and client meetings
* Maintain organized case files and ensure procedural compliance
* Stay updated on legal developments and court rulings
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) or equivalent
* Enrollment with the Bar Council (preferred)
* Strong legal research and drafting skills
* Good communication and interpersonal abilities
* Willingness to learn and take initiative in a collaborative environment
