Job Description
3. Process and manage invoices and payments accurately and efficiently.
4. Reconcile accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy.
5. Maintain and update financial records as required.
6. Assist with month-end closing processes.
7. Communicate effectively with vendors and resolve any payment discrepancies.
8. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
9. Support the accounting & finance team with administrative tasks.
10. Provide timely reports and updates to management as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
11. Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role in accounting & finance.
12. Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
13. Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
14. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
15. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
16. Good communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
