A little bit more about your role:
As a Principal Engineer, you will focus on the technical and project delivery of energy storage assignments and take a leading position in developing WSP’s services in this area.
Your duties will include:
1. Leading and delivering high-quality technical services for feasibility, development, owner’s engineer, and technical due diligence assignments focused on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
2. Providing technical input to BESS developments at each stage of the project development lifecycle, including their integration with other electrical or generating plants as necessary.
3. Training, supervising, and reviewing the work of junior and middle-level engineers, ensuring the quality of their work.
4. Advising clients on project development and execution processes, including key stages, timescales, and risks.
5. Leading and supporting project and interface management between engineering and environmental disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil, control & instrumentation, etc.).
