This is a great opportunity for a Private Client Legal Executive to join a well-established practice in Wigan with a loyal, long-standing client base.
The firm has been serving the local community for decades and the vast majority of instructions come through repeat clients and recommendations. Client care and personal service are central to how the team operates, and you’ll be trusted to build lasting relationships while handling a varied and interesting private client caseload.
You’ll be joining a forward-thinking, dynamic environment where people are supported to develop their careers, with flexibility built in and genuine opportunities to progress over time.
Who we’re looking for
4. Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced fee earner with at least 1 year’s relevant private client experience
5. Experience running your own caseload
6. Exposure to Wills, Probate and broader private client matters
7. Confident, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
8. Strong organisational and communication skills
9. Excellent client care skills with the ability to empathise in sensitive situations
10. Comfortable using practice management systems, Outlook and Word
11. Willing to engage in networking and business development to support the department
12. A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic
What you’ll be doing
13. Managing a varied private client caseload, including: Wills Probate and estate administration Lasting Powers of Attorney Trusts (including Personal Injury trusts) Court of Protection matters Estate planning
14. Providing clear, practical and empathetic advice to clients
15. Handling matters from instruction through to completion
16. Building strong client relationships and contributing to repeat and referral work
17. Supporting the wider team and contributing to the ongoing success of the department
18. Participating in networking and business development activities where appropriate
