Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join our team. This is a full-time, office-based position focused on advising and representing clients in employment law matters. The successful candidate will be confident managing a varied caseload independently, including both contentious and non-contentious employment issues.
Key Responsibilities
* Advise clients on a broad range of employment law matters, including dismissal, redundancy, discrimination, workplace disputes, and contracts.
* Draft employment contracts, staff handbooks, settlement agreements, and other employment-related documentation.
* Handle employment tribunal claims from initial instruction through to representation at hearings.
* Negotiate on behalf of clients to achieve effective resolutions.
* Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.
* Keep up to date with legislative developments and case law in employment law.
* Where required, collaborate with colleagues across immigration and civil law practice areas.
Requirements
* Newly Grad to 2 years' post-study legal work experience.
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and tribunal procedures.
* Proven ability to handle both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
* Strong client care skills and ability to work independently.
* Experience in immigration or civil law will be considered an advantage.

Salary & Benefits
* Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
