Mechanical Service Engineer
Location : Crawley area
Salary : £40,000-£47,000 per annum
Responsibilities
* Diagnose, repair, and maintain rotating equipment and auxiliary plant
* Conduct inspections, fault-finding, and prepare technical reports
* Assist with planned projects, outages, and workshop activities
* Use measuring tools such as micrometers and alignment equipment
* Manage schedules efficiently and work independently or in a team
* Be available for callouts and occasional overnight stays
Qualifications
* Mechanical qualification (ONC, HNC, NVQ, or equivalent)
* Proven experience in fault finding, repair, installation, and commissioning
* Knowledge of heavy engineering sectors, ideally Aggregates
* OEM pump or turbine experience desirable
* Full driving licence required
* Strong technical, communication, and customer service skills
