As a Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for effectively organising the workshop arrangements, ensuring that professional standards of work and legal compliance are continuously achieved and maintained, that standards of workshop efficiency and productivity are optimised, that financial targets are met or beaten and Health & Safety matters are continually monitored and addressed.
You will have served a recognised and relevant apprenticeship and hold a Diploma in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles at SCQF level 7 or equivalent and have experience of supervising a team in a vehicle workshop environment.
You will be self motivated and have the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders including internal and external customers.
You will also have a proven ability to plan and co-ordinate routine maintenance and repair activities to meet statutory requirements in addition to a proven ability to prioritise, plan and organise the workload of the workshop and delegate when required.
You will have experience in using a computerised fleet management system such as Fleetwave and knowledge of current vehicle legislation.
A Category C Driving Licence or equivalent entitlement to drive in Great Britain is essential.
