About the Role
Under the guidance of the Manager, Consultant Psychiatrist, and Senior Clinicians (Senior Staff Group), and in conjunction with team members, you will provide a high standard of clinical assessment, treatment, and support to consumers and carers. The ANUM will deliver case management using the Strengths Model, a recovery-oriented approach to an identified caseload and psychiatric nursing specific interventions.
* Coordinate and manage the shift to ensure the provision of high quality consumer-focused care
* Provide leadership, act as a role model to staff and coordinate the allocation of resources on the shift to meet the needs of patients
* Undertake nursing assessments and independently institute nursing care for consumers
Classifications for this position will range from Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3 NP83 - NP74 ($108,435 - $112,091 per annum pro rata)
Your Contribution
* Current Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) registration.
* Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in nursing which meets the registration requirements of AHPRA, Division 1 or 3, and a current Practicing Certificate.
* Post registration qualification in relevant area of specialty.
* Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in mental health.
* A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or willingness to obtain

About Footbridge CCU
Footbridge CCU is a 20-bed community residential service for consumers with mental illness and complex psycho-social issues. The service operates on principles of recovery-oriented practice, utilising the strengths model.
It offers two streams: the Recovery Review Program (RRP), a 6-week multidisciplinary assessment, and the Intensive Recovery Review Program (IRP), an 18-24 month intensive program focusing on recovery goals, discharge planning, and future support, through case management with allied health and nursing staff.
