Job Description As a Civil Structural Engineer, you will join Manchester / Warrington / Derby team to support our activities within the Nuclear sector. This role offers the opportunity to work on some of the most complex reinforced concrete and steel structures in the nuclear industry, collaborating within a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment to deliver safe, resilient, and high-quality engineering solutions for our clients Location: Manchester/ Warrington/ Derby (Can be anyone site) On Site: 2-3 Days Clearance: BPSS Experience Level: 3-10 YOE Key Responsibilities: Design and analyse reinforced concrete and steel structures for nuclear facilities and associated infrastructure. Perform structural calculations and modelling to ensure compliance with relevant design codes and safety requirements. Evaluate structural performance under a range of loading conditions including seismic, dynamic, environmental loads, and construction phases. Contribute to verification and validation activities by reviewing analysis, inspection, and testing evidence to confirm compliance with structural and system requirements. Develop and review technical documentation, engineering reports, and design deliverables. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams including mechanical, systems, and safety engineers. Support design changes and modifications by assessing structural impacts and recommending appropriate engineering solutions. Provide technical support during project delivery phases, including coordination with clients, contractors, and regulatory stakeholders.
