A well-established plumbing, electrical, and heating company in Cambridgeshire is on the lookout for an Operations Coordinator to join their friendly and dynamic team. You’ll play a key role in making sure day-to-day operations run smoothly—from scheduling engineers and liaising with customers, to producing quotes and tracking job progress.
What you’ll be doing:
* Coordinating engineers’ schedules and workloads
* Responding to customer queries and booking in work
* Generating invoices and quotes following site visits
* Monitoring jobs and creating progress reports
* Supporting with general office tasks and admin
What we’re looking for:
* Excellent communication skills—written and spoken
* Experience managing a high volume of work with accuracy
* Strong team player who builds great rapport with customers and colleagues
* Comfortable on the phone and confident dealing with senior staff
* Good IT skills and quick to get to grips with new systems
