Are you an experienced Plater, ready for your next adventure? Cavendish Nuclear are seeking experienced Day Shift and Night Shift Plater to join our team on the prestigious Hinkley Point C project. This is your chance to contribute to the construction of the UK's first-ever 3rd generation nuclear power plant, shaping a sustainable future.

The Role
1. Play a pivotal role in building the UK's clean energy future.
2. Work within the MEH Alliance, collaborating effectively to deliver complex piping and cabling systems.
3. Translate engineering documents into fabrication plans, selecting necessary tools and equipment.
4. Cut, shape, and assemble steel plates and components.
5. Install and join plate and structural materials.
6. Perform burning, grinding, and other fabrication tasks.
7. Complete tasks set by supervisors and ensure work meets or exceeds contract specifications.
You are a great fit if you have proven experience in the following.
8. Experience using fabrication drawings to develop a fabrication plan and selecting the tools and equipment required to complete the task.
9. Plating experience using tools and equipment to cut prepare shape, fabricate and assemble plate and steelwork
Qualifications
10. Must hold a full Level 3 apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 Diploma in in Plating, Fabrication, Welding, Structural Steelwork or Shipbuilding, or ACE Card - Level 3 in Plating
11. Must have a CCNSG Safety Passport
