Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager (MEP) to lead and coordinate complex Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring all aspects align with client specifications, safety standards, and budget requirements. Your leadership will drive project success through effective communication, meticulous scheduling, and proactive problem-solving. Responsibilities
* Lead the planning, coordination, and management of MEP construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
* Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to monitor progress and identify potential delays.
* Oversee procurement processes including construction estimating and contracts to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
* Utilize bluebeam and other digital tools for blueprint reading, schematics review, and document management.
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and project alignment.
* Conduct site visits to oversee construction activities, verify compliance with safety protocols, and ensure quality standards are met.
* Manage project documentation such as change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and progress reports.
* Monitor project schedules closely to meet deadlines while managing resources efficiently across multiple teams.
* Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, regulations, and contractual obligations related to civil 3D designs and heavyBid estimates.
* Address unforeseen issues promptly by implementing effective solutions that minimize project disruptions.
Skills
* Proven experience in construction management with a focus on MEP systems; strong background in construction site operations is essential.
* Proficiency in project management software including Primavera P6, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, ProCore, Bluebeam, and other construction management tools.
* Solid understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to MEP systems.
* Expertise in construction estimating techniques and contract management processes.
* Excellent project scheduling skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively using Primavera P6 or similar tools.
* Strong knowledge of construction site safety protocols and quality assurance practices.
* Effective communication skills for coordinating teams across multiple disciplines while managing client expectations.
* Time management skills that enable juggling multiple projects efficiently without compromising quality or safety standards.
