Welder, £24.00 per hour, Dalkeith, Immediate Start, Temp to Perm We are currently seeking an experienced Aluminium MIG Welder to join a busy workshop team on an initial 13-week contract, with the potential for extension or a permanent position for the right candidate. Benefits * £24.00 per hour * Monday to Thursday working pattern * 7:00am – 5:15pm shifts * Long weekends every week * Opportunity for contract extension or permanent employment * Work on major infrastructure upgrade projects Responsibilities * MIG welding aluminium plates and components used in pylons and substations * Manufacturing and fabricating components for infrastructure replacement and upgrade projects * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings * Welding to specified tolerances and quality standards * Carrying out all work safely and efficiently within a workshop environment * Supporting quality control and ensuring completed work meets project specifications * Successfully completing a weld test prior to starting work Requirements * Proven experience in aluminium MIG welding * Ability to read and work from technical drawings * Strong understanding of welding tolerances and fabrication standards * TIG welding experience is desirable but not essential * Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Candidates must provide...
