Construction Project Manager - Cleanrooms - Manchester
Our client, who are a Turnkey Cleanroom Design and Build Contractor who have a wealth of experience of designing, installing, and managing the construction of Bespoke Cleanrooms and Controlled environments to meet cGMP (continuous Good Manufacturing Processes) and ISO classification standards.
Working within the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Laboratory and Critical Controlled Environment Sectors, you will take ownership of design and delivery of major build projects for GMP Clean room environments.
Responsibilities:
* Oversees daily activity of all departments
* Prepares budgets, schedules, and other organisational reports as needed
* Provides advice and guidance to other employees
* Manages team workloads in order to meet goals and deadlines
* Develops plans to increase efficiency and reduce costs
* Improves existing systems and policies
* Ensures customer requirements are met in a timely manner
* Promotes and enforces safety in the workplace
* Oversees construction activity
* Identifies improvement areas and plans and implements systems to boost company effectiveness
* Manages internal and external service suppliers
* Executes plans designed to meet company goals by changing policies and coaching employees.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* 5+ Years' experience in a related management role
* Educated to Degree level in a related discipline
* Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
* Effective leadership and people management skills
* Effective management and delegation skills
* Understanding of a multi-faceted business operation
* Ability to be proactive and also to foresee events and react appropriately towards them
* Complex problem-solving ability and effective decision-making ability
