ROLE OVERVIEW
An entry‑level role for someone who wants to learn the financial advisory business from the inside. You will support day‑to‑day practice operations across admin, data, events, and marketing, picking up practical skills across functions as you grow. No prior finance experience needed, but genuine curiosity for the industry is a must.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administration & Operations
* Prepare, organise, and maintain client documentation, compliance forms, and correspondence
* Coordinate new client onboarding including KYC documentation and account setup
* Track action items and ensure timely follow‑through across all open matters
* Maintain confidential records in line with regulatory and firm requirements
Data Analysis & Reporting
* Compile and organise client portfolio data, performance summaries, and financial reports
* Prepare meeting materials and data summaries for client review meetings
* Monitor relevant market updates and flag items tied to client holdings or financial plans
* Maintain data accuracy across CRM systems, spreadsheets, and shared drives
Events Planning & Coordination
* Assist in planning and executing client‑facing events including seminars and workshops
* Support end‑to‑end logistics: venue sourcing, vendor coordination, RSVPs, collateral production, and post‑event follow‑up
* Develop event timelines, run‑of‑show documents, and budget trackers
Client & Stakeholder Management
* Serve as first point of contact for client enquiries, handling interactions with warmth and professionalism
* Build rapport through consistent, responsive communication and follow‑through
* Prepare client‑facing materials such as meeting decks, financial summaries, and proposal documents
Marketing Support
* Draft content for social media, newsletters, and client communications in the advisor's voice
* Support creation of marketing collateral including event flyers and EDMs
* Prepare and schedule posts to maintain the advisor's online presence
REQUIREMENTS
Essential
* Genuine interest in the finance industry and a desire to build a career in financial advisory
* Fresh graduates welcome; no prior work experience required
* Comfortable with data and numbers; basic proficiency in Microsoft 365
* Organised and detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
* Proactive and eager to learn across different functions
* Strong interpersonal skills; confident communicating with clients and external stakeholders
* Good written and verbal English; additional languages a plus
* Trustworthy and discreet with sensitive client and financial information
Preferred
* Follows financial markets, investment news, or personal finance topics independently
* Basic understanding of social media, content creation, or digital marketing
* Familiarity with CRM tools, project management apps, or data visualisation software
