We are currently recruiting for an experienced Brake Press Operator to join a busy and well-established manufacturing team in Dorking. This Brake Press Operator role offers the opportunity to work with modern CNC equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
As a Brake Press Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality components, working to engineering drawings and tight tolerances, while maintaining high safety and quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Brake Press Operator looking for a stable, long-term position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set and operate CNC brake press machinery as a Brake Press Operator
* Interpret technical drawings and manufacture components to specification
* Carry out self-inspection to ensure quality standards are met
* Maintain excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards
* Work as part of a team to achieve production targets
Requirements:
* Proven experience working as a Brake Press Operator
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Strong attention to detail and quality control
* Experience working with stainless and mild steel
* Reliable and team-oriented approach
Shift Pattern:
* 40 hours per week (permanent role)
* Rotating weekly shifts:
o Early: 5:45am 1:45pm
o Late: 2:15pm 10:15pm
* Monday to Friday
* Paid 30-minute break each day
Important:
* Candidates must be able to travel to Dorking, as public transport does not support these shift times
