This is a Fixed Term role covering a period of maternity leave, and therefore we are looking for candidates who are available to commence the contract from early/mid February.
The Breedon group is a leading vertically-integrated international construction materials group in Great Britain, Ireland and the United States, providing material for the construction industry as well as offering surfacing solutions.
This role is based within the Minster Surfacing part of the group, which has a client base ranging from domestic and commercial clients to large contractors, local authorities and government bodies.
The Administrator within this business will support the team in providing an effective and efficient, professional and flexible administrative service.
Scope of the Role
The role includes but is not limited to the following:
• Administration of sales and purchasing (including raising & receipting purchase orders)
• Assisting the commercial team with adhoc administrative tasks
• Assist with the booking of hotels and other travel arrangements for staff
• Assist with the booking of materials, plant & equipment to site as required
• Collation and administration of month end accounts information
• Administration of training records and organising & booking training
• To answer the phone in a timely manner and redirect calls accordingly
• To greet visitors on arrival and connect them with the appropriate party
• To provide hospitality for all visitors and internal staff meetings on request
• To open and distribute mail
• To provide administrative support to visitors and other departments as required
